Are you a curly girl who loves to work out? Don’t let your hair hold you back from being fit! Many women say that they have a hard time caring for their natural hair while working out. At Mielle, we don’t think you should have to sacrifice working out because you are afraid that your hair will suffer in the process. Exercising with natural hair can be tricky, but there are things that you can do to help ease the process. Here are some hair care tips to help you keep your hair protected while you work out.

Tie Your Hair Up

While you are working out, it may not be a good idea to leave your hair out. Tie it up or “pineapple” it while you exercise. When you tie your hair up while working out, it will help you keep the frizz at bay. It will also help to protect your ends from breakage that can be caused by your hair rubbing against your clothes.

You also want to protect your hair from sweat while working out. Tying your hair up with a satin scarf will help keep your edges from getting frizzy as well

Use an Alternative Way to Refresh Your Hair

Keep Your Hair Moisturized
